Cross Country

On Friday it was Cross Country but it got cancel because of the wether so it was on Monday. I ran with Mia. I walked a little bit with Mia especially on the long hill. My mum and dad wanted me to come a place but I came near the end. I don't like Cross Country.

This is my training for cross country.

R4 Golden time Letter to Mr Macmillan

Dear Super Best Principal Of St Mary’s Catholic School

We should play camera tag for our super special Golden time with you. Please play this amazing and fun game.

Firstly we work our body and brain out because you need to think carefully and strategically where you need to hide and when the tagger see you need to run away before the tager take a photo. Also if the tager is near you have to be silent and don’t move. Is that correct?

Besides you get super fantastic at using the super amazing camera because you get great at taking lovely photos when you are older and an adult and, to learn how use awesome cameras and we get to understand more about the fantastic cameras.

Finally our last very super reason is that you get awesome at other amazing games like hard Hide and Seek and running in a tough marathon also super tag but using a camera.

Even if it’s hard for you to hide ( and some people don’t like it that much ) you can be the tagger if you like to because you are the amazing Principal and also you can change the rules.

We will love we to play this amazing game.

The Ascension

What's the difference between the Ascension and Resurrection?


Jesus was Resurrectioned after he died on the cross.
Forty day later Jesus was Ascension to Heven.
Resurrectioned is when Jesus came back to Human and Ascension is when Jesus came to God.

My Reading Goals

• By the end of term 2 I will be able to skim and scan different texts for information. 
• By the end of term 2 I will be able to know what inference is.
• By the end of term 3 I will be able to expand my volcabulary and know what meore words mean.

Writing Goal

My goal is for term 2 is to use different sentence starters to make my writing more interesting.

 I noticed that using different sentence starters is much better than using "In the holidays " or " I " because if you use different sentence starters it will more interesting.


My goal is to use some complex sentence to create pace, flow and interest

Reflection: I am sometimes using shorter or longer sentnece types but I need to deliberatley do this to help make my writing more interesting. 


Term 4: My New writing goal is to learn to spell words more and more diffcult words. E.g: Diffent - Different

On  Monday  at school  I went to  the giant  hall with Abigail and my amazing class.
There was a amazing visitor that was controlling the show that was brilliant.
The visitor was a NZ OPERA. The characters were Kind and fascinating.
